Its construction began in the middle of the 18th century, but it did not reach its final shape until after a major reconstruction and expansion in the 1880s. Each year, the city hosts several cultural events, some of which are organized in the Festetics Palace Hall of Fame. Concerts are open in the Mirror Hall of Festetics Castle every Thursday from 7:45 pm.
